Shakespeare In Shorts Camp A Midsummer Play June 22-July10 Grade 4-8 We need 4 more kids for this class to run so sign up now! 

Explore the magic and mischief of A 20-Minute Midsummer Night’s Dream performing it as actors. With a sprinkle of Shakespeare’s storytelling and a whole lot of imagination, this camp is all about exploring timeless stories and amazing Shakespearean language. 

Musical Theatre Cabaret Camp June 22-July 10 Grade 3-6 Filling up fast 

Welcome to Broadway Cabaret, where kids take center stage in an exciting musical revue! Campers will explore the fundamentals of musical theatre, including: Acting – Learn how to bring characters to life through expression, movement, and storytelling. Singing – Develop vocal technique, breath control, and basic harmony skills. Dancing – Learn choreography and stage movement to enhance musical numbers. Storytelling – Understand how music and movement work together to tell a story on stage.The camp culminates in a final showcase where family and friends can cheer on their Broadway stars!

JULY

13 The Musical July 13-July31 Grade 3-9 Filling up Fast 

Join us for IPSF's Summer Musical: 13 JR. tells a timeless story about fitting in - and standing out! A true coming-of-age musical, 13 JR. is made especially for adolescents with a universal message about friendship and being true to yourself. This is a 3 week program that will end in a full production and ticketed performance at 6pm on July 31. 

Musical Stage Crew July 13-July 31 Grade 5-9

Go behind the scenes and bring a show to life! Stage Crew will learn set design, sound, props, and stage management, working hands-on to run a live performance. Be part of the crew that makes the magic happen!

Kpop Camp July 20-July24 Grade 5-9

Students will learn high-energy choreography to popular K-pop songs! Dancers will build confidence, musicality, and performance skills in a supportive, high-energy environment. 

 

Film Camp July 20-July 24 Grade 9-12

In this hands-on film camp, students will learn how to turn their ideas into a short film. They’ll create an original story, develop a shot list, and collaborate to film their scenes using real filmmaking techniques. The camp concludes with editing their footage on Adobe Premiere Suite and seeing their finished film come to life on screen.

 

Musical Theatre Dance July 27-July 31 Grade 3-6

Musical Theatre Dance is a fun, high-energy class where students learn classic musical theatre dance steps, build technique, and grow their confidence as performers. From Wicked to Hamilton, Dancers will work on coordination, musicality, and storytelling through movement while learning choreography. Because musical theatre is all about teamwork, students will practice working together in rehearsals and learn what it takes to perform as a group on stage.
